Thanks to having several sanctuaries in Puerto Escondido, we are able to liberate all year long, every day at five o’clock during the sunset we can help nature, upon arrival to the sanctuary everything will be explained, turtles are given 30 minutes after coming out of the shell, they’ll borrow you a container with the turtle inside and you’ll head to the beach line where you’ll be able to liberate your turtle and it’ll have to walk to the ocean by itself. It is recommended to not touch them with your hands, you can take as many pictures as you want, just don’t use the flash!
